Multilingual singer-songwriter Athena was born in Manila, The Philippines and grew up in Japan listening to J-pop, as well as classic international pop-rock artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne and Demi Lovato Possessing an impressive vocal range, beautiful looks and a strong stage presence, Athena has starred in over a dozen musicals in The Philippines including Wicked, Much Ado About Nothing, High School Musical and Legally Blonde.
A talented actress who has appeared as central characters in daily soap opera ‘Sarah the Teen Princess’ and several movies (Lastikman / A Journey Home), her main passion remains singing and after performing on several mainstream Filipino TV shows, she is now concentrating on her solo career in Japan.
Athena’s debut live will take place at Shibuya Lounge Neo on November 18th as part of ToySound – Global Beatstorm Connection.
